Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a good video game for avid super mario fans. It showcases new features compared to the previous game and possess new graphics like 3D planets, sizes and landscapes. Mario possess different abilities and the game play is still the same. Gamers need to travel to various galaxies to collect power stars which are acquired by finishing tasks.This game can be so addicting and there are some cheat codes that can help you begin this wondrous adventure in the world of video games.
Play as Luigi
- This can only be achieved by collecting the “Flotacious Blimp Fruit” star located in the tall trunk galaxy. This will enable a conversation with Luigi at the beginning of early levels and control him. Another way is defeating Bowser at Bowser’s Galaxy Generator. Try checking the Mail Toad and there will be a message. Enter the letter L in the spaceship to switch into Luigi in any level.
Infinite lives
- You can attain infinite number of lives by going into the Supermassive Galaxy into the mid-point of “The Huge Trouble with Big Wrigglers” level. There you can find three large Koopa Troopas in an area shaped like a cylinder. When you reach the site, do a long jump in order for you to jump over the giant Koopa’s Shell. Once that is done, move to the right slowly as you keep on jumping and gaining extra lives. With this method, you can easily gain 99 extra lives in approximately 2 minutes. The only drawback in this method is that it ill not be saved once you turn off the game. Another way is to go to the 1UP mushroom floating above the gap between the “Tip Network TV” block and the next block after it. Do a long jump over the gap and back again and to buy time for the 1Up mushroom to appear, you can speak to the TV and watch a long jump shortcut. During the process, the 1UP mushroom will appear and you can repeat as many times as you want.
